Home Visits
Most patients benefit from being seen in a properly equipped surgery where modern facilities for consultation, investigation and treatment are available. However, for those patients whose medical condition requires it, we can visit them in their own home.
Except in the case of an acute emergency, requests for home visits should be made before 10.00am on normal working days. Requests for routine home visits made after 10am will be dealt with on the next working day.

When telephoning for a home visit, please be prepared for our receptionists to take details of the nature of the problem, as this information helps to decide on how the request should be dealt with. It is common practice for the doctor to phone back prior to visiting or, if appropriate, making other arrangements. Therefore please make sure that we have the correct telephone number to call you back.
If you are phoning on behalf of someone else who you think needs a home visit it is important that the patient is aware that you are calling on their behalf
