Nursing Team
The practice employs a team of nurses who provide a wide range of services including chronic disease management and family planning clinics. Some of our Practice Nurses are nurse prescribers and can adjust treatments for various conditions.
Nurse Practitioner
Our Nurse Practitioner is Maxine Atkinson and she can assess and treat (including prescribing) a range of conditions in her surgeries. If your own doctor is not available you are welcome to make an appointment with Maxine.

Health Care Assistants
Our Health Care assistants provide a range of services to assist the doctors and the nurses including taking blood (venepuncture), cryotherapy (such as freezing warts), and a number of other health care investigations
Our practice nurses run the treatment rooms for the whole range of services, such as applying dressings, assisting the doctors performing various procedures, taking blood, new patient health checks, over 75 year old annual health checks, smoking cessation advice, advice about healthy eating etc.
We have a number of nurse run clinics, including;
