Home visitsMost patients benefit from being seen in a properly equipped surgery where modern facilities for consultation, investigation and treatment are available. However, for those patients whose medical condition requires it, we can visit them in their own home. Except in the case of an acute emergency, requests for home visits should be made before 11.00am on normal working days. When telephoning for a home visit, please be prepared for our receptionists to take details of the nature of the problem, as this information helps to decide on how the request should be dealt with. It is common practice for the doctor to phone back prior to visiting or, if appropriate, making other arrangements. |
