Medical Students

The practice is regularly visited by medical students as a vital part of their undergraduate course. As part of their learning, it is obviously important that they see all aspects of what we do here at Whitby, including seeing patients. Patients are always informed if a medical student will be sitting in with the doctor, and most are perfectly happy with this. There are a few occasions when patients would not wish a medical student to be present, and the patient simply informs the receptionist if this is the case.
